What Dynv doesn’t replace
- Dynv watches the packages installed in your running services. It doesn’t scan source code (SAST), infrastructure code or registry images.
- The firewall works at the process level on Linux. It isn’t a cloud security platform, and it doesn’t run on macOS.
- Canaries are fake secrets placed next to real ones. They aren’t network decoys like Thinkst Canary.

Is early access free?
Yes. Billing isn’t on yet, and early access is free while we onboard teams by hand. The prices on this page apply at general availability. Early-access accounts get the founding price.
What counts as a service?
A service is one process in Dynv, with its own key and tokens. It counts when at least one instance of it ran during the month. Replicas share one service, up to 32 instances. Services that didn’t run are kept and free.
Do AI agents and CI take a seat?
No. A seat is a person who holds a key. Agent tokens, CI service accounts and process tokens are free, within your plan’s limit.
What happens if I go over a limit?
On Free you can’t add an 11th service until you upgrade. On paid plans, more services are $10 a month per 50. Nothing that already runs stops: services keep running and keep receiving values.
What does an AI fix cost?
With your own key or agent, nothing: AI fixes are free on every plan. On Dynv keys, paid plans include 25 to 300 fixes a month, then $0.25 a fix, up to a monthly cap you set.
Why is SSO on Team?
Because a team should not pay extra for safe sign-in. In Dynv, SSO proves who you are; your keys still come from your passkey, so SSO never hands anyone your secrets.
What happens if a payment fails?
Your services keep running and keep receiving values. Revokes and rotations always work. After 14 days, only new things above the Free limits are refused.
What do you see to bill me?
Counts: services that ran, seats, canaries and AI fixes. Never the names or values of your variables, because we can’t read them.
Can I self-host?
Self-hosted and air-gapped licenses are planned for Enterprise, priced by people and services. Write to us and we’ll talk about your setup.
